My couples are drawn to the warm, modern and personalised vibe they see on my socials, and they want something similar for their day. They want to be able to celebrate their love in a way that is warm, lighthearted and meaningful. They are looking for a ceremony to embrace their values, which can mean ditching some traditions in favour of new rituals.

Wedding Parties Redefined: Mixing it Up
Why not break the tradition of having the wedding party stand up front with you and instead having your best mates seated among the guests. This can create an intimate and relaxed vibe at your ceremony and allows the two of you to be positioned more naturally. Bonus outcome - this is ideal for big wedding parties with limited ceremony space - think venues like Rupert on Rupert, The Panama Dining Room, Little Henri, Old Palm Liquor, and Estelle!

Fashion is in vogue like never before. Let your crew choose outfits that make them feel every bit the extraordinary individuals they are. It's a beautiful way to celebrate self-expression within your wedding party.
3. Ditch Gendered Sides

Instead of signing the paperwork during your ceremony, how about you walk down the aisle as married couple, then head to the bar with your celebrant and witnesses for the official paperwork? Enjoy a celebratory drink and take a moment to relax before you re-join the throng!

Inclusivity isn't a trend, it's a necessity. Your ceremony has the power to be a warm welcoming space for people of all backgrounds. USE IT!!! This means using accurate pronouns, including a well-researched Acknowledgment of Country, and prioritising correct name pronunciations.
